No. Every file is rendered, edited, and rebuilt entirely in your browser using pdf.js, pdf-lib, and qpdf compiled to WebAssembly. Nothing reaches a server.
Can I combine multiple PDFs into one?
Yes. Add as many PDFs and images as you need, every page lands in one working grid you can reorder freely, then export a single merged PDF when it looks right.
Can I open a password-protected PDF?
Yes. If a PDF you add is encrypted, you'll be prompted for its password locally in the browser before it joins the grid. Neither the password nor the file is ever sent anywhere.
Can I add a password to my exported PDF?
Yes. The "Protect with password" option encrypts the exported file with a password of your choosing, using qpdf running entirely client-side.
Can I add page numbers or a watermark?
Yes. Export options let you stamp page numbers in any corner, overlay a text or image watermark, and crop margins, all applied across the whole document at export time.
Can I scan paper documents into a PDF?
Yes. On devices with a camera, use "Scan with camera" to capture pages and drop them straight into the working grid alongside any PDFs or images.
Does splitting or converting to images keep my file quality?
PDF-to-PDF actions like merging, extracting, and splitting copy the original page content directly, so text and image quality are unchanged. Converting to JPG rasterizes each page at a high export resolution.
What happens to a page I delete?
It's marked as removed and dimmed in the grid, but it stays there so you can restore it. Nothing is actually discarded until you export.
